Bring The Art of Shakespeare to Your School, College, Community Center, or OrganizationShakespeare on the Edge, Inc. was awarded a $10,000 grant for 2010 by the Wisconsin Arts Board to bring the art of Shakespeare to communities all throughout Southern Wisconsin.
Through SOTE’s traveling youth company, The Eclectic Rogues, “The Art of Shakespeare in Rural Wisconsin Communities” will help keep the art of Shakespeare alive, create dialogues about the connections to our modern life and the life that Shakespeare wrote about over 400 years ago, and introduce audiences throughout Southern Wisconsin to the phenomenally fun art that is Shakespeare.
The Eclectic Rogues, youth and teens ages 10-18, can bring the art of Shakespeare right to you! Through interactive workshops and outreach, these youth are helping keep the Bard’s art alive and well.
We have a variety of workshops that can be tailored to meet the needs of your classroom or organization. From 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, let our group help your students find their voices and creative potential through the dramatic works of Shakespeare. Fun and interactive, workshops can be created for groups from as young as 4 to as old as 100.
